SAP Experience Required
- 4 to 6 years of hands-on experience in SAP FI/CO
- Minimum 1 end-to-end SAP FI implementation experience
- Experience in implementation and support (AMS) environments
Roles & Responsibilities
- Strong functional knowledge of Finance processes and Organizational Structure with the ability to interact effectively with business stakeholders and drive requirement discovery discussions.
- Participate actively in SAP project phases including Discover, Prepare, Explore, Realize, Deploy, and Operate (AMS).
- Assist in and conduct Explore workshops using SAP Best Practices / SAP Model Company under guidance or independently where applicable.
- Follow the Show & Tell approach:
- Configure SAP Best Practices
- Conduct workshops to capture business-specific deltas
- Revalidate gaps with business users
- Support documentation and sign-off process
- Configure and support SAP FI module including:
- Enterprise Structure (Company Code, Business Area, Controlling Area, Chart of Accounts, Fiscal Year)
- GL, AR, AP, Asset Accounting, Bank Accounting, Basic Fixed Asset processes
- Intercompany transactions and basic taxation setup
- Exposure to Bank Accounting, Payment Programs, and basic integration scenarios (SWIFT knowledge preferred).
- Participate in Financial Closing activities, month-end and year-end closing support.
- Prepare and maintain functional documents such as:
- Business Requirement Documents (BRD)
- Functional Specifications (WRICEF)
- Test scenarios and UAT documentation
- Support integration testing with other SAP modules such as MM, SD, CO, and collaborate during E2E process testing.
- Assist in manual and automated testing, write test scripts, and support test execution.
- Coordinate with technical teams for issue resolution, enhancements, and transport.
- Support customer documentation and assist in obtaining sign-off on deliverables.
Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 4–6 years of hands-on SAP FI/CO experience.
- At least 1 full-cycle SAP FI implementation project.
- Good understanding of SAP FI configuration and customization.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
- Effective communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative team environment.
- SAP FI certification will be an added advantage.
Preferred Skills
- Exposure to SAP S/4HANA Finance.
- Experience in industries such as Manufacturing, Automotive, FMCG, or Retail.
