With an enriching experience of one-and-a-half decade under his belt, Ravindra Saraf started InfraBeat Technologies offering digital transformation solutions.

It’s been an amazing journey that started from a small 2BHK apartment in Sanghavi area of the city. Today, InfraBeat Technologies founded by Ravindra Saraf is a name to reckon with in the field of digital transformation.

THE BEGINNING

On April 1, 2013, Ravindra, fondly called Ravi, started InfraBeat, a SAP consultancy firm after spending more than 15 years in MNCs like SAP India, ITC, Bharat Forge et al. At Sanghavi apartment, Ravi trained four college graduates, who were from the Tier II and III cities, on SAP technologies.

Initially, InfraBeat started getting work especially from four big consulting units, which were related to providing resources for a particular project. However, in no time, due to superior technical skills, InfraBeat started getting work directly from the end-customers and that too from wellknown organisations in automotive and manufacturing sectors.

During this period, SAP had come up with their in-memory database called HANA and in a very short span, InfraBeat gained mastery over these new technologies and started helping large organisations to build their digital transformation foundation stronger by adopting SAP HANA platform.

BIGGER CANVAS

After spending around four years in building the company’s foundation, Ravi decided to expand the business and reach out to a larger market. As part of this process, InfraBeat formally became SAP ‘VAR Partner’ in December 2017 and within a year’s time they achieved ‘Gold Partner’ status of SAP.

”InfraBeat saw a major diversification of its portfolio in 2018, when we had started our SAP Ariba Practice, a cloudbased end-to-end procurement solution from SAP. With strong domain expertise and technology know-how, InfraBeat has become one of the go-to market partner for SAP India when it comes to Ariba solution,” a proud Ravi informs.

In the same year, InfraBeat signed a partnership with Amazon Web Services (AWS) and started helping customers to adopt Cloud Technologies. InfraBeat felt that cloud adoption was the key to any organisation’s digital transformation journey and plays a vital role in bringing flexibility, agility and security of the business applications.

GROWTH STORY

By the end of 2018, InfraBeat expanded its cloud portfolio to Google Cloud Platform as well as Microsoft Cloud Platform. Starting from Mid-2018 till date, InfraBeat has helped over 55 customers to adopt cloud infra, be it AWS or GCP or MS Azure and helped them to be more agile in their digital transformation journey.

Along with cloud adoption, InfraBeat has played a key role in helping customers in embracing ‘Intelligent ERP – SAP S/4HANA’ which was a kind of transformation of its own kind. Lot of reputed customers took help from InfraBeat.

InfraBeat’s journey, which had started with 700 Sqft 2 BHK flat has now reached to a state-of-the-art premise of around 17,000 sq ft which can accommodate 250+ resources.

After almost 8.5 years into the business Ravi feels proud when he sees his family of four people has now reached to the headcount of 340+ and has presence not only in India but also in the Middle East and the USA.

”We not only provide SAP consultancy services but also help customers to embrace cloud technologies be it Cloud Infra or Cloud Analytics. FUTURE PLANS

InfraBeat has aggressive growth plans for the coming three to four years and they have already embarked on this journey. These plans are on two fronts viz. Geography Expansion and New Technology Adoption.

Geography Expansion: InfraBeat has started the process to expand its presence in the USA & UAE markets.

Technologies: After making strong foundation for Digital Transformation, the next steps are in bringing more automation and insights to the customer organisation.

InfraBeat has recently started ‘Cloud Analytics’ practice which will help their customers to have a single view of their business, which can be consuming data from multiple sources.

The second aspect which they are focusing on is Process Automation with the help of ‘Robotic Process Automation’ tools. Correct usage of RPA tool will help customers in eliminating manual intervention for repetitive and timeconsuming business processes like invoice booking etc.

Ravi says, ”We would like to highlight one key aspect which we have learnt over the last eight-and-a-half years and which has become a kind of part of our culture at InfraBeat. We are proud to say that we have more than 200 employees, who come from the Tier II or Tier III cities (in some cases Tier IV cities too).
